Ending their first day in Ireland, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a reception at the Guinness factory’s Gravity Bar. Kate surprised us with a new label, favoured by Princess Beatrice.
We saw a new dress on Kate, The Vampire’s Wife ‘Falconetti’ silk midi dress, which is not a label we thought we would see for the Duchess! You might recognise this piece – it is very similar to a dress from the same label owned by Princess Beatrice, only the ruffles/hem differ. Featuring puff shoulders and half sleeves with ruffles, the metallic silk midi dress has tiered ruffles at the midi hem; it zips to the rear. It costs £1,595 and is available to preorder here.
We saw a new pair of heels from Manolo Blahnik. These are the ‘BB’ green velvet heels in 105mm height. The velvet is so dark, they almost appear black in the evening light! These heels are available here for £525.
Kate chose to pair the look with her Wilbur & Gussie ‘Charlie’ gold clutch, which she has had for a few years now. This and this are excellent matches for under £15. Kate’s version is still available here, costing £245.
Her earrings, we believe, came from H&M. Measuring 7cm, they originally cost £8.99 but were last seen on sale for £6. You can still view them here. Try these to copy the look, or these if your budget stretches.
UPDATE: our team member Gabi noticed that the earrings were worn by the Duchess back in 2017, for a semi-private event.
