Princess Eugenie wears tweed for first engagement with Jack at orthopaedic hospital

On Wednesday, Princess Eugenie visited the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, London. She joined her father, The Duke of York for the event, and brought along her husband, Jack. You can read about the event on our sister site, The Crown Chronicles, here.

Princess Eugenie opted for a cream coat dress by Maje for the day. This was the ‘Ryzer’ in a cream boucle tweed. With a fit-and-flare shape, the dress also has raw hems and a v-neck, further accentuating the gold buttons and the flare of the skirt. The piece costs £315 and you can purchase one here, here or here.

Eugenie carried a bag from Chloe, the ‘Nile’ bracelet bag, costing £1050. The half-moon shaped bag features stud detailing to the front, giving an equestrian vibe, which continues on the underside on a gold hardware band. There is an optional shoulder strap, and the handle is a large golden hoop, to be worn around the wrist. Chloe is embossed onto the front and a ‘C’ charm hangs from the centre of the base.

We saw the return of a leather headband from Emily London, worn last Christmas. This is the ‘Rocco’ headband, featuring a ruching. It costs £335 but is no longer available.

For shoes, Eugenie stuck to a trusty pair of black pointed heels, with a low heel. Making these shoes stand our was a gold heel plaque. They are almost identical to this pair from Bally, however they have a black sole, so we are still looking for them. You can get these Bally shoes as a great match to channel Eugenie’s style here.

Princess Eugenie wore her yellow gold, pave diamond huggies which we have seen on a few occasions recently. Whilst there are hundreds of brands with very similar styles, we believe these are from Astely Clarke, the ‘mini halo diamond hoop earrings’. They retail for £695. You can purchase them here.

UPDATE: our eagle-eyed Michelle notes that the small earring is a touch wider than the medium, and the Princess’ look slim. Therefore, we think they are the ‘Medium Halo Diamond Hoop Earrings’. Get a pair for £1250 here. They are also available in rose gold with black diamonds, white gold, and rose gold.

Eugenie’s mum, Sarah, Duchess of York, tweeted her support and pride at the trio’s engagement.
