The Duchess of Sussex attended a royal garden party held at Buckingham Palace for the 70th Birthday celebrations of her new father-in-law. Prince Charles, in her first official engagement as a member of the British Royal Family. Meghan joined her husband, The Duke of Sussex, to wish The Prince of Wales well for his birthday; Meghan chose a blush chiffon dress by Goat Fashion for the occasion; Goat Fashion has been a favourite with The Duchess of Cambridge, particularly during her most recent pregnancy.
Meghan wore the Goat Fashion ‘Flavia’ dress, retailing for £590. This chiffon dress features a sheer yoke and sheer bracelet length sleeves. Both the neckline and and sleeve cuffs have frayed unfinished raw edges. The dress has a fitted bodice with darts, a cinched arched waist line to give an elongated feeling to the pencil skirt silhouette which skims to just below the knee. The dress also has a concealed rear zip closure. The dress is made from rose-pink taupes and lined in a blend of acetate/polyester. The dress was so popular that Goat’s website crashed as it was unable to handle the traffic. We are not sure about the sheer elements on this dress, Meghan looked lovely but we would prefer sleeves that were not sheer. Purchase Meghan’s dress here and here.
