Yesterday, it was announced that The Royal Foundation has sent out grants totalling £1.8 million to organisations helping frontline workers and mental health. William and Kate met with representatives from the 10 organisations this money will support earlier in the week, and we got a lovely summer look from the Duchess.
This is the Cotton shirt dress from Suzannah. With half, cuffed sleeves, a pointed collar and visible placket, this a-line dress oozes smart casual, and is based on a 1950s silhouette. It is tied with a wide belt at the waist, and the skirt is given volume with four multi-pleats (two at the front, two at the back). The dress is made from organic cotton, and features invisible pockets in the side seams. It costs £995 here.
20% of each sale goes towards The Royal Foundation Covid-19 fund, which is what the Duchess was discussing in this particular meeting.
The Duchess paired it with her Castaner ‘Carina’ espadrille wedges, with ankle laces, which are her current go-to summer footwear. You can just see the ties on her foot below. Try these – an updated version of the shoe for £85, or these for a more affordable option.
Kate wore a new bracelet, from Sezane. It is the ‘Stephanie’ cuff, with faux pearls ‘shelled’ at either end with cutout gold-work. This style is sold out, costing £75, but is available in teal and blue.
Finally, Catherine chose her Daniella Draper mini cupid hoop earrings, without the charm. Get the originals here or these for a very good match.
