Duchess Meghan repeats Stella McCartney coat for Festival of Remembrance

The Duchess of Sussex joined The Queen and the Royal Family for the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday night. She chose a black Stella McCartney ensemble for the occasion.

Meghan chose a Stella McCartney ‘Tie front coat’. It features a fitted bodice which moves into a slightly knee-length flared skirt, with peak lapels, a front welt chest pocket, and a back vent. The main feature is the black wide satin tie belt, which the Duchess tied into a bow. This piece might be recognisable to you: it was worn in Cardiff last year. As an older piece, it appears to be sold out.

We only caught a small glimpse of the dress worn beneath; it was also black, featuring a wide v-neck with fold-over detail, and capped sleeves. We will update you if we find out more.

UPDATE: Meghan was wearing a dress from Marks and Spencer. This crepe piece costs £49.50 and comes in red, too. It features a bodycon fit, with an off-the-shoulder v neckline. There is a visible zip and vent to the rear. Get one here.

Her bag was also Stella McCartney; it was the ‘Shaggy Dear Falabella Crossbody’ bag, RRP £630. Made of faux leather, diamond cut chains line the flap of the bag, and also create the chain. The bag is fixed with a magnetic closure and features one small internal pocket. This is still available here.

The Duchess of Sussex wore her Manolo Blahnik ‘BB 105’ pumps. These heels feature a pointed toe, a 10.5cm heel and MB’s iconic Tora heel. These sell for £495 – get a pair here.

We also noticed, unusually, that Meghan was wearing tights this evening; see the sheen to her legs and the rain splashes!

For accessories, the Duchess chose a poppy (of course, it was a remembrance event) and a pair of graduated stone earrings, mimicking the cuff or crawler style. They are in a silver-toned setting featuring clear stones. Knowing Meghan’s choices of jewellery, this will likely be white gold and diamonds.

@solidmoonlight on Twitter (Laura) suggests they might be Zofia Day ‘Diamond silver crawler earrings’, which cost approx £680.

More when we have it, but we have lots of options to mimic her style if you like this look.
