The Earl and Countess of Wessex, recently visited Sir Guru Singh Sabha Southall, a Sikh temple in London (6 December). The Countess returned to one of her favourite designers, wearing a pale aqua blue dress from Emilia Wickstead.
Sophie wore an Emilia Wickstead dress. It appears the Countess is wearing a bespoke version of the ‘Amanda Cloque’ dress, retailing for £1,809. As is so often the case with royal ladies, they will commission a bespoke piece from the designer that is constructed from several elements of other designs from the label, in order to create a unique and one-off dress.
Sophie’s dress features a high rounded neckline, long sleeves, centre seam, plus contouring panels that arch from underneath the shoulder and down the bodice. The dress skims over the waist and flares out into a full circle skirt at midi length. It is modified by having no cinched waistline or low back. The Amanda dress is part of the Autumn/Winter 2018 Collection.
In a respectful nod when being inside the temple, Sophie draped a pale blue scarf with small silver foil snowflakes around her head. Get the look here.
The Countess appears to be wearing a new pair of earrings. These are a small oval gem stud with a thin drop, ending in a dangling square gem. These look to be aquamarine stones.
Sophie accessorised with a new Apple watch with a two toned, brown and bright red strap, retailing for £31. You can purchase the strap here.
Due to being inside the temple, the Countess was barefoot but we thing she probably wore a pair of her nude Prada heels that she has favoured a lot recently. One pair is suede, the other is patent leather.
