Ahead of maternal mental health awareness week, The Duchess of Cambridge made two video calls, speaking to midwives and maternity staff, along with new parents, and mental health experts. Kate made two calls, giving us two looks, mixing old and new pieces in a video released on Saturday.
The first was in a new baby blue zig zag jumper from Tabitha Webb; this is the ‘Jessie’ knit jumper, costing £275 here (preorder at the moment). It features a white chevron pattern against a light blue base. With vertical pointelle detailing and pintucks at the shoulder, and a contrasting white hem and cuffs, the jumper is made of a wool/cashmere blend.
We really like this jumper – a lovely shade for spring, but adding a twist on a plain jumper!
Kate teamed this with – what look to be – her Daniella Draper hoops, minus the shamrock drops. Notice the hoops are not perfect circles.
We also saw Catherine in her Boden ‘Aurora’ dress, which was debuted through the Cambridges’ 2019 Christmas card. The piece has pleating across the shoulders, half sleeves, a wrap-effect giving a v-neck, also tying at the left-side of the waist, and a three-tiered skirt.
She paired the dress with a new set of earrings, that it took a while to be identified! These are from Patrick Mavros, the ‘Ocean Tides Milky Quartz Urchin Earrings’. They cost £800 and are made of sterling silver, with a hint of 18kt yellow gold. At the centre of the urchin is a small diamond, and a cabochon cut milky quartz stone hangs from the stud. Order a pair here.
Thanks to Susan and the @WhatKateWore readership for finding these.
I shared several screengrabs with Patrick Mavros and asked if the Duchess was wearing their earrings. They tell me she wore their Ocean Tides Milky Quartz Earrings w/ 18ct Gold in Silver. Many thx to Martina for her tip & Stephanie for the photo help! https://t.co/7h5Na2BQDO pic.twitter.com/hMxRoSbRvR

You might remember that the Duchess has a pair of crocodile earrings from this jeweller, seen in New York in 2015. The Countess of Wessex is also a fan, owning a number of pairs of earrings – including a pair of urchin studs – as well as necklaces from the label.
